La Pergola is a family run Italian restaurant situated just a few miles south-west of Cambridge City Centre in a picturesque setting surrounded by rolling countryside and open fields. Formerly the building was home to The Wheatsheaf, a coaching inn dating back to the 17th century. The current owners have retained the pub and extended the premises to accommodate the restaurant.

La Pergola specialises in Italian food and boasts the only wood burning pizza oven in Cambridgeshire. The emphasis at La Pergola is on producing homemade authentic Italian food, using good quality ingredients and where possible locally sourced produce.

The restaurant is open for lunch from Tuesday to Sunday. A selection of Italian and English dishes are served and Pizza is available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday lunchtime. On Sunday a traditional 2 course lunch is available from 12p.m till 3p.m. La Pergola is open in the evening from Tuesday to Saturday. As well as Pizza, the evening a la carte menu features a wide selection of Antipasti, Primi Piatti, Secondi and Dolci.
